The painter and decorator

After working for myself for over twenty years within the painters and decorators & property maintenance trade I always had in the back of my mind that one day i would move to Cumbria.

I had spent many wonderful holidays around the area. And with a love of the countryside,mountains and of course the lakes it all seemed to  make perfect sense. 

The catalyst of my move to Cumbria came after the birth of my two daughters. 

I wanted them to grow up in a place where the air is fresh and clean and the people are friendly.

They already have broad strong Cumbria accents and me and my family has never looked back since.
